What has brought you here?
At different moments in our lives, we can lose our way. Sometimes it happens gradually; other times it arrives without warning. An unexpected event, a rupture, or the steady accumulation of stress can bring us to a place where familiar coping no longer works. We may carry grief that feels immeasurable, struggle to make decisions that once felt clear, or lose our sense of orientation—both to the larger picture and to ourselves. For many people, this dislocation is intensified by living within social conditions that create chronic pressure, uncertainty, or threat, particularly for those whose identities, bodies, families, or communities have long been asked to endure more.
In these moments, what matters is not perfection, but response. Healing often begins with remembering that we are more than what has happened to us, more than our trauma, and more than the systems that have shaped our lives. From a liberation-informed and anti-racist perspective, emotional distress does not live solely inside individuals—it emerges in relationship to history, culture, and context. Therapy can become a place where personal pain is held alongside these realities, without minimizing either.
My work is grounded in the belief that healing happens through connection—connection to self, to meaning, and to a felt sense of belonging. I practice from a mindfulness- and body-centered approach, informed by Hakomi, that gently attends to how experience is held in the nervous system and shaped through relationship. I offer a space that is attentive to power, identity, and lived experience, and that honors the resilience people have developed in order to survive and care for themselves and others. This includes holding space for all People of Color within the Global Majority, LGBTQIA+ individuals, immigrants and mixed-status families, elders, and White Allies who find themselves standing in solidarity —often carrying both hope and exhaustion at the same time.
I would be honored to walk alongside you as you navigate this chapter of your life—whether you are seeking relief from emotional pain, support through relational or life transitions, or a deeper reconnection to purpose, joy, and direction. Healing is not about returning to who you once were, but about becoming more fully who you are now, with greater choice, self-trust, and freedom—within yourself and in the world you move through.
